INA, Ill. (July 9, 2026) — One of the most dominant pitchers in the country this season, Eli Maynor (Du Quoin), was named the GRAC Pitcher of the Year and named to the All-Region team.
Serving as the Warriors Baseball premier starting option on the mound throughout the 2026 campaign, Maynor led the staff with 13 starts, three complete games and 4 shutouts in conference. In 75.2 innings pitched, he compiled a 3.09 ERA with 80 strikeouts.
“Eli is one of the best pitchers I have been fortunate to be around," said Head Coach Nate Glant. "When it comes to competing, no one wants to win more than Eli, and it showed everytime he stepped on the mound. He helped set the tone for our team this season with his mentality and taking the ball when he was nowhere close to 100%. E was finding ways to win out of sheer competitiveness in this gauntlet of a conference, which says all you need to know about him."
Maynor will continue his baseball career at the Southeastern Missouri University this fall.
