Dyersburg, Tenn. (February 12, 2026) — The Rend Lake Warriors used a high-powered offense and aggressive base running to secure a 2-1 series victory over Dyersburg State this past weekend.
Game 1: Warriors 16, Dyersburg State 4
The Warriors opened the series with a dominant 16-4 victory on Saturday, fueled by a 10-hit attack and a disciplined eye at the plate. Bryce Minton got the scoring started in the fourth with a solo blast to center, but it was the bottom of the order that did the heavy lifting. Drew Isenberg, Carson Wort, and Brendan McKinley combined for five hits, six runs, and seven RBIs.
Isenberg led the charge with four RBIs, including a three-run homer to right in the seventh. The Warriors blew the game open in the eighth, plating six runs on just two hits by capitalizing on a series of walks and hit batters.
On the mound, Eli Maynor earned the win, striking out eight and allowing just one earned run over five innings. Gunnar Massey provided strong relief, fanning four in 2.1 innings of work. The Warriors were a menace on the base paths, racking up 10 stolen bases—led by multi-steal games from Gavin Powell, Kobie Howard, and McKinley.
Game 2: Warriors 12, Dyersburg State 7
The bats stayed hot for Sunday’s opener as Caden Spicer put on a masterclass at the plate. Spicer drove in six runs, headlined by a first-inning grand slam and another solo shot in the third.
The Warriors padded their lead with a five-run seventh inning featuring RBI singles from Isenberg and Jack Harre. Harre, Isenberg, and Asious Kavich joined Spicer with multi-hit performances to pace the 11-hit effort.
Ryan Lambert was stellar out of the bullpen, tossing 3.2 scoreless innings with five strikeouts to keep the Eagles at bay after Minton’s start. Noah Nix entered to record the final outs and secure the series-clinching win.
Game 3: Dyersburg State 2, Warriors 1
The series finale turned into a pitchers' duel, headlined by a brilliant performance from Rend Lake’s Konnor Myatt. Myatt was untouchable, throwing six innings of no-hit baseball and striking out eight.
Despite the dominance on the mound, the Warriors' offense struggled to find the late-inning heroics seen earlier in the weekend. With the game knotted at 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Dyersburg State managed to load the bases and draw a walk-off walk to escape with a narrow 2-1 victory.
