INA, Ill. (November 5, 2024)—The Lady Warriors volleyball 2024 season has not gone like the team expected, but after sweeping that last two matches they look to finish strong in Region 24 Play this weekend. The Lady Warriors finished the regular season 13-17 and 7-12 in the region.

Rend Lake has been led by Sophomore setter Bree Vollman, who leads the team with 566 assists, good for 5.34 per set. The leading hitters this season are Freshman Brooke Miller, with 283 kills, and Kennedy Stults with 232 kills. Freshman Elle Wesselmann has led the defense from her libero spot with 452 digs, 4.26 per set. Vollman also led the way from the service line with 53 Aces on the season.

The Lady Warriors look to take the winning streak into the playoffs this weekend where they will face ICC. The winner of that match will most likely play the top seeded Heartland CC in the finals. “We are hoping some time off this last week will help us be at the top of our game this weekend. We want to play the best volleyball we have played all year and see what happens,” said Head Coach Reggie Bateman.
